If you speak Portuguese, there is a very good set of tutorials for Blender, created by a Brazilian user called tioilmo. All videos are hosted at YouTube, and there are 30 videos available.

A very good video tutorial has been released by Montage Studio, showing the entire process for modeling a Lowpoly character with Blender, for using in game projects. The video has a total running time of approximately 50 min, and it`s in high quality 1024 x 768.

As the Blender community continues to grow by leaps and bounds, there can never be enough tutorials that cover the basics. Apollos has started a tutorial series on Blender basics that has high production qualities and looks very promising.
