I am already 10 months into Blender, and its awesome! I made these animations in between other things mostly to take my mind off of bigger and more tedious Blender projects. I chose this theme because it could be relatively quickly done (textured cubes on the most part) and that it would be easier to calculate physics for those shapes and I simply wanted to get more familiar with physics and constraints in Blender, Enjoy!

Fun. I liked the way there was slow-motion whenever something got hit. My favorite was the one near the beginning when the character got hit and flipped over.
Very nice stuff, love the rag doll sims.
Interesting tests, felt a little sorry for the characters, they really took a pounding. Beautiful music too.
Would be interesting to see your other projects.

Paldies!

Thanks!
Awww. I sorry for Steve getting tossed around like that :-) I was hoping to see your version of a creeper exploding.
Particle physics + ragdoll physics = Uber-Awesomeness!
I didnt use particles, those "Steves" were just copied a lot of times, the video is still nice though :D
Somtimes this is exactly how my day feels!
Nice. I like physics renders. I wish the game Minecraft moved physically like that. lol And I like the ominous sound that accompanied the "Render: 36 hours."
Could you do a shorter version to "Let the bodies hit the floor"? :)
Thank you all for your kind comments, I didnt expect to have such a nice reaction from you all :)
How to do Rigid Body simulations in blender? I can only do Soft Body.
I ran the physics in the game engine and recorded them (little checkbox in the "game" tab) , and then it is just a regular keyframe animation :)
FANTASTIC!!! Love the first head shot! HA!!! A short tutorial, please????
Its on Downloads....and no download :(
What are you talking about?
Well done, Kriss! I'm wondering what kind of frame rate the physics engine simulates the scene ? Does it run in real-time (30fps) or below ?
That would make Herobrine proud and happy, because of all the punishment Steve is receiving, lol.
