hey.. this looks very good already!! I think this engine is worth a try!!!
Looks awesome, but no linux support ruins it for me. Linux is a must. I haven't booted into Windows in almost a year at home. But this does look good. Well lets see if others will want linux support.

I'm interested in Linux support too ;)
Hi,
I think Linux support should be ready in September,
there is a rss flow here to keep in touch with the news : http://www.maratis3d.org/?feed=rss
There is also a thread about that on the forum, we might need some Linux testers or people able to compile on Linux :)

Linux user here.

Neat open source alternative to Unity (which doesn't support deployment on Linux either :( ). Still missing a lot of key features, though (joystick support, particle systems, etc.)
Will take a look at this when/if it goes cross platform.
Ubuntu please! Ubuntu!
Oslaf Erbmon : Yes, particle system is on the todo list, Joystick is supported on windows (OSX is missing the cocoa implementation for now), but multi-touch/accelerometer is working on iOS (iPhone/iPad) with openGLES1 and openGLES2 supported. The engine is compatible Android too, only inputs events are not yet implemented (but I'm sure advanced users can plug it easily).
Looks interesting. It crashes on me (Windows 7, 64-bit) when I try to open the Yo Frankie example. Two of the other examples seem incomplete. Looks like it'll be worth keeping an eye on though.
OSX build don't work under Lion?
Caronte : never tried, the build is done on Leopard, with mac intel.
I am also interested in a Linux version, but preferably something that is NOT ubuntu specific. I don't play a lot of games but my primary desktop at work and home is linux (OpenSuSE and Fedora). Event though I have not played many of the games I do support the humble bundles that come out from Humble Indie Games specifically because of the cross-platform support.
Been really interested in JMonkeyEngine as well, lot of good progress there.
Linux.
