After our post about Radiance's latest work, you might be looking at Indigo and wondering how to use it with Blender. Look no further! Radiance has posted an excellent (and extensive) tutorial on using Indigo with Blender.
From the intoduction:
Due to the large amount of blenderheads posting 'how do i get started' posts on the Indigo forums, and the lack of documentation for Indigo (which is being worked on), I thought i'd write this tutorial to get people started with Indigo. I basically rammed this whole tutorial into my keyboard in 4 hours ;-) so don't complain about typo's etc ;-) i'll fix them soon ;-) This tutorial assumes the reader to have a basic understanding of Blender, basic modeling, basic material assignment and UV mapping.

Documentation, clear precise.
It doesn't take an eternity to write when one knows what one is talking about and obviously this man does.
Thank you greatly Radiance. Although that I am mostly a Yafray user the must be some artistic use for all the hyper-reality of Indigo.

Finally, I was looking for somthing like this, thx Radiance!
What about blurry refractions for transperancy? What about anisotropic shading?
Ironicaly, these are the only things I can think of... Thanks for the tutorial, I'll try it out soon!
Just tried it. It's amazing! Though you have to have the world settings saved under the name World, which I didn't at first... It kept coming up with Python Error. Not anymore, though.
