How to Rig a Cartoon Worm

Cartoon WormThe 3d world magazine has published a very good tutorial, showing how to setup a worm cartoon character for animation with Blender. The tutorial includes a PDF file, fully illustrated and all models and files.

This may even look short, only four pages, but the content is very good. If you don’t know how to setup a character ring with Blender, it’s a good start!
Visit this link, to read the description of the tutorial and to download all related files.

I does look like it's been covered before but, I didn't catch it last time so it's new to me. I'll definitely have to check it out. Thanks.

Yes this article was mentioned before in June, but it was not available to download until now (Oct). If you wanted the tutorial you had to buy the magazine, which isn't easily available to everyone at a reasonable price.

Beautiful tutorial mallow; so precise and exansive without being overly written. I must admit it taught me alot - particularly about how to think about rigging but I am left confused about how to deal with soft bodies and lattice's in the rig - i find the mesh deforming when the lattice hits a deflector and not when the mesh does.

    Does anyone have any suggestions/pointers?
