How do video game controllers work?

This video took me pretty much a full month to make. I did use a lot of purchased models and hired some freelancing modeling assistance, but that just goes to show that you with such an amazing community, you don't have to make everything yourself.

The room used in the intro could use a few touch-ups in the photorealism. Also, I use an empty and a track to constraint for both targeting the camera and focus distance, so when I move the focus to the TV and back to the controller, there was a little bit of jitter- but hey- when you compare it to the rest of YouTube, these issues are next to nothing. Tho next time I'll probably use the empty just for targeting the camera and manually keyframe the focus distance, or use two separate empties.

I am an engineer that wants to get others excited about engineering as well. I worked 8 years as an electrical and mechanical engineer on subsystems in machines that make microchips, specifically on Ion Implanters. I want to inspire others to get into engineering, so I decided to learn Blender. Eventually, I left my engineering job so I could make high-quality educational engineering videos for YouTube. My hobbies are: cooking, inner tube water polo, frisbee, and lindy hop dancing.
