This whole series has been great. What I especially like is that mistakes are left in as a learning example. It's one thing to celebrate "happy accidents" , but it's something else to point out one's mistakes and own them. I respect that and cannot wait for the rest of this series. Thanks,Dikko!

I feel like as 3d developers, we need to rethink modeling. Why are we still modeling hands? In a hundred years, we will still be modeling hands. It doesn't make sense. Hands should be treated like a commodity.
Not sure what you mean. What do you mean by "treated like a commodity" and what do you suggest should change about modeling hands?
There are packs out there that supply hand base meshes. The question is whether they are any good.
