The Blender production 'Next Gen' by Tangent Animation is now available for watching on Netflix. The team answered many questions on our previous article, so head there to learn more about it.
I'm not entirely sure how to share a link to a Netflix movie, but this link should take you there.
Enjoy, and have a great weekend!
PS: apparently the Blender logo is in the credits. Go find it :)

This one is great.! Like a Disney animation movie.
I loved this movie!
You could clearly see though in dark scenes the infamous blender haze caused by too low sample count. But hey, its a 1.5hr movie! I would rate the story as 3.5, as there are so many movies like it, astro-boy for example. But its really well done, and the fight scenes clearly had some love done.
just watched and thouroughly enjoyed it. And good to see the Blender logo and BlenderNation in the credits too (along with the Foundation and Blender Artists).
Loved the Dog comments!!
Really amazing movie !!!
I'm happy to see blender used in big movie production.
I watched this movie. This is Blender ? Seriously ? WoW !!!
Really enjoyed this movie! I wasn't sure what to expect. My only complaint is it seems like there were several shots that were almost taken directly from other movies. Like the shot where they are fighting in the clouds and the people are looking up at the clouds flashing. I can't remember what movie that is from, but I know I've seen it before. I'd have to watch it again because I know there were other shots like that as well. I'm not trying to bash this movie, though. I really liked it, and it pulled on the heart strings a little bit.
Very often movie creators will give nods to past movies that inspired them and make it very obvious - it's seen as a sign of appreciation. Look up "movie homage references" in YouTube.
If you look for it, you will find everything has been done before.
I've seen comments like this before too.
Bart with the meta!
AMAZING MOVIE!!! I really enjoyed it. Technically outstanding as well:) Congrats to everyone involved.
Watched yesterday Awesome Move
Could have been a cinema release. Very impressed!
Sadly they credited Blender Nation and not BlenderNation in the credits ;)
That's not uncommon, but I'll take it :)
Congrats on having BlenderNation mentioned in the credits Bart :D
Thanks :)
