Brandon Hix writes:

In my second post mortem on the Blender Unleashed blog I dig into the lessons I learned while working on my latest 3d illustration featuring a massive katana and an epic Japanese landscape. This illustration won me a spot in the reader's gallery in 3d Artist issue 110 and I'm happy to be sharing what I learned along the way with the Blender community. I share insights for productivity, generating ideas, working on a massive project solo, and much more. This post is huge coming in at over 25 pages of content and includes a massive image dump from my behind the scenes works in progress.

Check it out and leave me a comment about what you're learning!
