MaxToBlender Plugin - Direct File Conversion

MaxToBlender is a plugin to transfer 3DsMax scene data to Blender with just 2 clicks. 3DtoAll did other exchange plugins like MaxToC4D, MaxToMaya, MaxToModo and C4DtoMax and now they solved common import/export problems automatically. It can also convert scenes with V-Ray shaders into Blender “similar” settings.

    • Thanks! Yes it is :) I have friends that never touched blender that were able to test their models with the powerful cycles engine easily transfering with 2 clicks and started to love blender

    • Rigs supported as a standard fbx support = skins, etc, but no extra IK system or anything like that. Fur not supported in this first version, I will consider that :)

    I see Max is supported from 2014 and up. My most recent version is 2012 and I have lots of files that need to be converted. Any chance your plug-in/script will work in 2012?

  2. Its blender compiled in this package but i'll update it in this week with open source, anyway if you need for some reason the source you can mail me and i send you the open source blender importer addon

    Hello Auke,
    I have 3ds max file (2017),in facial rigged by morpher and shapes , if , I import that max file in blender (2.79 b),can I get the same facial rigged set up in blender.Please suggest me.Thanks
