Just in this image the added chromatic aberration destroys the result. If it were not for the chromatic aberrations, I would have bet this was a photo
Yes, and I actually was wondering why there should be chromatic aberration in a black and white image. If you're going to recreate the effect as if the picture was taken with a real camera, of course there will be dispersion due to the imperfection of the lens - but the b/w film won't show it in colour, as a result the image will just be blurred where the aberration happens.
Apart from that, that's a great portrait! I will never be able to create something like this.

WOW, this is the best human head sculpt I have ever seen! I too would have taken it for a photograph if it wasn't for the out-of-place chromatics.
