This is one of the more bizarre projects that I found in my mailbox this week ;-)

Well, do you know the OST?

Why! This looks like too much effort put into a simple concept.
Well, i don´t know.
But i can use the model for other works. XD
LOL! Well the one with him dressed as the devil was the most accurate... Or him as a muslim (you know, his original clothing) would be good as well.
WTF? First Obama does a WTF podcast in a garage, and now this! :)
That's a lót of lip syncing! A tough job! Did you do that all manually in Blender ? Or did you use some kind of automated system?
It was done with shape keys and bone system manually. But i created pose modes for lip sync and this make it faster. I combine shape keys with drivers connected on another armature with different bones for phonemes and expressions.
It take me about one or two days. Rendering take me more time, about a week on two computers
It could be better but i don´t have to much time :D
Thank you for your explanation. Good luck with the project.
Hilarious! ~ But that said, it is quite good although he looks a touch older than on the tv.
Also it seems to avoid the Uncanny Valley - at least in terms of avoiding the paralysis often found in some 3D figures.
