"Hunt for Totoro" - Toy store battle

Sottozen's latest video takes place in a toy story and includes a full tutorial on one of the scenes.

Hi guys, this is our first "long" short video (over two minutes)! We tried to put together some action and Vfx to have some fun. We hope you like it.

A great thank to one of my best cartoon characters ever: TOTORO!! :))) (The peluche in the film is actually mine! :)

My friends Alberto, Massimiliano and Man performed really well, they are great actors, what do you think ? :)

All visual effects are made in Blender and After Effects.

We filmed using a Canon 5D Mark III with Magic Lantern firmware.

Musics are from YouTube Free library and sounds are purchased from Pond5 website.

Tutorial:

Hi guys, this is a simple tutorial about some physics simulation in Blender that i made in order to get the effect of breaking down the concrete floor in the scene from our last short film "Hunt for Tototro"

I explain some very basic concept about Rigid Body simulation in our beloved Blender showing how i did this visual effect, i hope you will find it useful.

Give me some feedback, good or bad doesn't matter, and feel free to ask me if you would like to learn about some specific topic, if i can, i will be happy to make a tutorial based on your request.

    Ah ah you are right but that can be justified saying that with another fist all the toy store would collapse down :)
    Instead.. we made another VERY BIG MISTAKE.. can you tell me what is this one? If you find out, please comment it on You Tube because we are going to give one SottoZen T-shirt for free to the first who guess!
