We're running a weekly 3D Scanning competition at Sketchfab and this week the theme is 'Workspace'. So I scanned my home office where most of the BlenderNation work takes place.
My workflow for creating this scan was simple: I took about 45 pictures with my digital camera and uploaded them to Autodesk Recap 360 (it's a free service). Half an hour later I could download the processed model and it looked pretty good. After loading it into Blender I reoriented it a bit (everything was off by about 30 degrees). Usually I use the Bisect tool to clip off any parts that I don't need anymore, but in this case I thought the environment looked pretty cool. Finally, I used the Sketchfab uploader add-on to publish the model.
Give it a try and I'll add your workspace to this post. And did I mention you can win a $25 voucher from 3D Hubs every week?

Yea, nice space to work in! One thing I'd like to comment on, is that there just isn't very many comments on posts in Blendernation anymore like there was before the format change and disqus was brought in, and thats too bad! I always enjoyed the comments and sometimes learned things there.
Hi David,
I had to move away from native WordPress comments as the amount of traffic here on BlenderNation forced me to add a few layers of caching to the site. Allowing people to log in for comments would fry my server :-/ I'm not too happy with Disqus really and I'm considering way to bring back WordPress comments. It'll need a substantially more expensive hosting plan though, and I'm not yet convinced I can pay for that.
I understand,,,,hope you can find ways to sort it out
