I've mentioned Orlin Dutskinov's 'Krum' game a few times before (here and here). Today he announced that Krum is now looking to raise funds for the last stage of development.
Hi bros,
Just a day ago I started a Steam Greenlight campaign for Krum - Edge Of Darkness
It is a hack'n slash medieval game, one great action adventure with advanced combat tactics.
The game has a unique combat system that is simple to learn but tricky to master that’s unlike almost any other action video game out there. It’s nothing like a click-and-slash button masher. Button mashing will get you only killed. Each weapon has only a handful of simple to execute and yet brutal combos and there is a big beautiful world to explore. Now Krum is on Steam Greenlight, if you like the game you can support it by voting on it.
You can also support the Blender GE project on Indiegogo.

Although it is not really my style of game, I think it looks really cool. And the graphics also look good for a one man production.
It is really cool to see blender being used for something as big as an entire game. I admire the creator's dedication and I hope to see the project succeed.
Woah... BGE is finally being used for a greater project! +1 to this :)
Hi, Mircea: I have made a few large games, but no one cares.
I would like to say about this game, it needs a lot more colour to be a fantasy world (as you described it). Also, the game is nicely detailed, but it seems short and lacks game play to be an RPG. I know everyone will bash me for this, but I think you could have done a lot more in 7 years!
Hey guys, thank you for your comments, it means a lot to me!
@Nicholas Nel You might have this impression by viewing just "the forest" video, you can check the teaser video here : http://krum-game.com/video.html
The game have 7 huge beautiful worlds full of objects and life, dozens of enemies, advanced combat AI system, rpg system, combo system, custom lod system, custom sound system, custom interface system and more, all done by just one guy.
Yeah, I have seen most of your videos already.
All I see is combat, just a guy slashing, there is a lot more to an RPG than that, this is more like an FPS, the 2D filter you are using makes the game all look one colour, also, I only saw a few enemies on your indigogo page, you might want to show off all of them, if there are more. I know it's hard work, and after 7 years you might be seeing what you want to see for the sake of your hard work, I would not download it and play, because after watching the videos and stuff over the last 7 years, I feel like I have played it a million times already.
I am beginning in game development, I just want to ask what did you do about the blender game engine & blender player license in this commercial game? Thanks :)
