SubjectNameHere won our last weekend contest with his slick Blender-logo like robot. He picked 'Change' as our next topic. A change in your life maybe? Or the change of seasons? Or the gory mutation of an alien.. There's enough
Post your work below (attach an image and a screenshot if you like), and vote for your winner. The winner will get a post next week, and will get to pick next weekend’s contest theme. Have fun!

A low poly scene of the four seasons. I created a complete scene for every season (see also the second image), and then mixed a quarter of each horizontally to achieve the final result.
I think you could split summer and spring a bit differently. Clouds and rain for spring and a nice sun for summer. You know, like you'd see on the weather channel or something.
Thanks for the tip! I hadn't thought of that and you are absolutely right that the left part of the image is somewhat the same and boring compared to the right part.
So, I have two entries for you this weekend! I couldn't decide which one to enter, so.... Here's the first one! "Artist takes it literally."
Rendered in cycles. Enjoy! Comments and critiques welcome!
And here's my second entry, "Night and Day." I was going for a cardboard diorama feel. Enjoy! Once again, comments and critiques appreciated!
Congrats to SubjectNameHere on winning the contest last week...
Change of the Four Seasons
Did the image show up?
This one is beautiful! :) well done!
I see what you did there... :)
This is beautiful. If you don't mind my asking, how did you do the ice/winter portion?
Glass shader mixed with gloss+diffuse, mixed with a ramp factor with a displacement texture. The node system probably had 5-6 color ramps tweaking the hue and saturation values.
I never would have thought of doing a glass shader. It's stunning, I'm beside myself with awe. Thanks for the quick reply!
Wonderful! I remember seeing this image as the header once and thinking, "wow." Beautiful work! (I think we have a winner....)
Here's mine. Everything's made in blender. It's amazing how much Blender has developed and it's obvious how impressive it is to watch an awesome 3d Software evolve.
Throughout time we all press this button, sometimes someone else is pressing it for us, but change is good... mostly
culdnt resist that one :)

Sorry, got up twice... though the first time it gave me an error message... that logic...
I named this "Times are changing". Good luck to every one! :)
I usually don't do this, but I felt I could improve the image a lot with a few subtle changes, so here is another upload. please forgive me! :)
"Violent Change" - For better or worse...
Please! don't change me! :)
Some more changes on our loveley planet :)
Made mine this weekend only. Interpret it as you want, but idea is walking from a cold, frozen place, out the door to a warm and comforting place.
Looking back, the ice texture could have been better, and because I didn't want to spend a lot of time, the other side of the boot is a complete mess. A nice way to apply the Pancake Hobo tutorial though!
Enjoy!

Enjoy!
Very original and creative!

Enjoy! (Not sure if the image is showing)
I did not mean to post so many times. Im sorry! (Can't delete them - for some reason, they were posted by Guest).
Disqus can be sneaky :( If the image don't show up after posting, I found that refreshing the browser window usually does the trick. Clearing browser cache also does the trick sometimes. Nice image btw! Nothing beats getting inside after spending time out in the snow... :)
this is what thought of. just trying to be diffrent
Today was the first day that I've been on a computer in nine days. Anyways, here's my entry: "Aimless Objective"
As always, critiques and comments are much appreciated!
Here is my entry. "Changed Minecraft"
