Paton S1

1

Italian agency Meda36 has created a beautiful motor cycle image.

At meda36 we have used Blender as visualization tool for the upcoming Paton S1 motorbike.

This bike is going on the market in few days and it's the first Paton available for road use.

The mechanic part of the model came from engineering software, the fairing and details has been modelled in blender using refernce images of the first prototype.

The production process has involved an import and cleaning phase in which .stl files have been imported and cleaned (double vertices, overlapping faces, and so on). Then we have created missing parts, fairing, lights, tons of details, to add some realism to the model. Since there are 16 different equipment for the bike we have managed to create all the combinations and parts.

After that cycles render engine have been used for final still renders and for 360° configurator that will be available online on paton new website soon (www.paton.it if you are interested).

Cycles paired with a Nvidia GTX780ti has been essential to overcome all the canges involved in a complex task like this.

The version you can see in the renders is the one that will participate in Tourist trophy lightweight at Isle of Man in June.
