This character was inspired by Clint Eastwood and Hong Kong action movies! I created it over the course of two weeks with much help from the Works In Progress forum over at www.blenderartists.org. Here's the WIP thread.
Thanks for looking!

Amazing image Scott!
Great artwork. Congratulations!
Looks like the rain is only raining onto the hat :D
Nevertheless, great work!
He's to tough for the rain to soak into anything but his hat. :D
Did you created that smoke in Blender?
If so, give a hin, please.
Thank you.
Yes. I wanted to make such smoke a few times, but I hadn't got any success. Could you please upload your smoke setup if the smoke was made with Blender.
The picture is awesome
Hey everyone. Thanks for the comments! If you check out the work in progress thread, you'll notice I tried to used the smoke simulator with one revision. Jonathan L suggested I try out the smoke texture option for a still image and not mess with the simulator. As much as I wanted to use the smoke sim, it just didn't get me the wispy smoke I needed. I had a whole network of forcefields trying to get some interesting patterns, but all I could get was a blurry little tendril.
