This character was inspired by Clint Eastwood and Hong Kong action movies! I created it over the course of two weeks with much help from the Works In Progress forum over at www.blenderartists.org. Here's the WIP thread.

      Yes. I wanted to make such smoke a few times, but I hadn't got any success. Could you please upload your smoke setup if the smoke was made with Blender.

      • Hey everyone. Thanks for the comments! If you check out the work in progress thread, you'll notice I tried to used the smoke simulator with one revision. Jonathan L suggested I try out the smoke texture option for a still image and not mess with the simulator. As much as I wanted to use the smoke sim, it just didn't get me the wispy smoke I needed. I had a whole network of forcefields trying to get some interesting patterns, but all I could get was a blurry little tendril.
