Eoin Duffy presents a very personal work: "An animation which attempts to express a personal journey centered around the loss of my younger brother Emmet."

Blender animator and past Suzanne Award winner Eoin Duffy attempts to express a personal journey in his latest short – On Departure. The project was funded by the Irish Film Board in conduction with The Arts Council (of Ireland) and Raidió Teilifís Éireann. All 3D elements were created in blender 3D.
In its first 24 hrs online the film has been featured in Vimeo Staff Picks, Short of the Week, Its Nice That, Stash Media TV and many more.
Eoin also has an upcoming Blender-created short film The Missing Scarf, featuring the voice of George Takei. The film will premiere at the 2013 Galway film Festival in July.

Sad moments that many of us will recognise; poignantly expressed. Particularly powerful for me was that about halfway through I realised that what I originally saw as a round, closed mouth could also be seen as a silently screaming one.
