Good article. My previous job was working at a military defense simulations company. There I worked on GUI design, and created many of the icons in blender. I found blender to be a quick, and fun way of making 3D styled icons. I think it's cool others are doing the same. :)

Hey Guys - same things again. I've try to reach the same article from my personal laptop, same.. . issue
There is Bad Behavior plug-in installed on that host, and it doesn't like your IP. I upgraded the plug-in and temporarily disabled strict mode. That's probably a hundred spammers a day passing the check, for one real interested reader, but I think I can handle this :)
