I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Good article. My previous job was working at a military defense simulations company. There I worked on GUI design, and created many of the icons in blender. I found blender to be a quick, and fun way of making 3D styled icons. I think it's cool others are doing the same. :)

  2. Strange :) It's told me that

Guys this is not possible! The comp is clear like a pure water drop : )

      • Thanks, anyway - this is probably about the policy of the Company I work. May be the issue is coming from there. Thank you anyway! :)

          • There is Bad Behavior plug-in installed on that host, and it doesn't like your IP. I upgraded the plug-in and temporarily disabled strict mode. That's probably a hundred spammers a day passing the check, for one real interested reader, but I think I can handle this :)

  3. Thank you Alexander! Now is work perfect - I will be 100% up to date with all Blender news :))) Nice article - Thanks again!!!
