No need to be harsh, if I correctly understand your words.
This guy is on the verge of pro level, at least for modeling and texturing (my opinion, of course).
I join Thinkinmonkey for opinion and advices.

  1. Ricardo 3D - to notch stuff, I always admire your texturing and modelling skills. Probably the animation itself, movement of your characters, is not as good as the rest, but it always come with experience so keep on working on that. I believe you know something about rigging as well?

  2. I like your reel, but as Mookie said, your animation skill is not equal to your modeling/texturing skill, to tell the truth the animation distracts me from appreciating your models!
I'd like to watch your portfolio, but just all the models in turntable mode, maybe frozen in some action/pose very interesting.
Ah, and don't forget some wireframe render, which is a must for a modeler's reel!

  3. Awsome reel, I look foward to seeing more of your work in the future.

Like others have said, the animation is the weakest link in your skill set. I dont want to sound harsh but sometimes you are better cutting things from your reel as you progress as an artist.

That said I think Rarara's comments are too harsh, some pepole on these forums have got acclimatized to a high level of work that takes decades to master, this is not only unhealthy for the deluded individual its also damaging to the community itself. Any skill takes time to master and inbetween being a beginer and a professional there is a lifetime of skills to learn.

I wish you lots of luck and hope you do well in the future

      • Bart excuses about it. "It's like our friend Max Hammond said, there're people who come just to express an opinion and can not fathom as a professional. His animations, I think that is just starting. You got a lot of time in modeling and is venturing with animation. YOU ARE QUITE RIGHT! First part after modeling for animation, but it makes as many, because they are unable to thwart a good result, then return to modeling or give up altogether. You do the right way, one thing at a time. That's it partner! Cool modeling, texture and other studies with great excitement to come to putting break !!!!!!!!! Champion Congratulations! " P. S.: I'm using an online translator  :p

  5. Nicely done! Everything was great, including much of the animation. How did you animate the dinosaur's neck so that it bends in the creases? I am constantly astonished at the quality of work I see here.

  6. Nice work Paulo but like others have said your modelling and shading work is far stronger than the animation. You could leave the animation out and make it a modelling reel only until such time as you animation side becomes stronger. But really good work keep it up.

I'm impressed with that hi-detailed dinosaur and most of characters design!
Paulo, I think that the toughest part for any CG artist is a right concept creation. You'll fully obtain your animation skills, I'm sure.
