ZMJ100 is showcasing his new Blender mesh add-ons which add important and very useful CAD like commands to Blender such as Alignment, fillet, insert, extrude along, arc.
At his Blenderartists thread he shows the progress of his scripts. Currently not all tools work yet and thus are not available to download, but their number is growing. I copied in a list of the most updated tools here:

Can't wait.
That looks pretty dang handy!! I'm gonna have to check it out and see what I can break .. I mean, make!
Fillet??? Fun! :p
Definitely could use some of these tools...
inset!
Good, good, nice progress is on the way.
That looks great for architects!! Now if there was a similar tool to operate on curve objects..
Perhaps add the link to TinyCAD VTX? Just to group all of these tools... http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?204836-CAD-Addon-Edge-Tools-(blender-2.5x)
Huzzah!!!
That will be fantastic for making streets a roads
awesome!
Please, Blender developers, please!
Think of architects, engineers and designers who use Blender!
Exactly! This sort of engineering tool is essential for the industrial models I need to create. Like thousands of other Blender users, I'm not interested in creating fluffy bunnies, cartoon characters, or games.
I think some of these tools are not being implemented into Blender proper yet because everyone's waiting for BMesh.
I'd hate to see duplicated features when BMesh comes out, but this looks great for the meantime :)
Wow! Fantastic! This is something I've been waiting for for a long time since I've used SolidWorks and found it a lot easier and quicker to use for detailed drawing. Great to see Blender is now gaining similar capabilities.
Bmesh bevel + CADtools = BbBoOoOOoOmMm !!!
all these features been added to blender in one year ! I think autodesk makes a change or two in maya from year to year.. :c
Bad news: Zmj100 has removed the whole add on set ;(
I hope he doesnt stop the development......
If you filleted a filled plane would the resulting filleted shape also be filled or would it create ngon or simply not fill it at all?
Excellent work. Very cool and very useful.
The inset Mesh is godsend! How many times I needed to workaround this with making faces, then using Alt-S or in recent times using the Solidify Modifier.
Now these times are over. I already used the tool for a actual project today!
THANKS!
Thank you very much, it's very useful :)
