Awesome! Can't wait to test it out! XD
Thanks!
Test it just now and most of the major bugs seems gone. Thanks to all developers
I thought that update will be released after 2 month.
This is just a bug fix, not really an update
2.61 will come in two months.
a,b,c,d.... releases are quick bugfix releases, in case the official release has some urgent, show stopper, bugs.
These guys put out releases faster than I can download. BRAVO!!!!
a,b,c,d releases are nothing to cheer about.
That just means that the previous (2.60) release was bad.
It more so just means that there were more new features added where things *could* go wrong. I'd like to see Windows fix their bugs that quickly! As for me, I use the VSE, and noticed a very weird sound bug in the mixdown feature, and I hope it was within the scope of these bug fixes, but proxies are back at least!
Win32 zip download gives me a 404.
Win 32 and MAcOSX 64 gives me 404 too
It's very cool, that the bugs were fixed in this short time. But why don't they call the new version 2.60a and not 2.60.1 as normal?
Because "This is just a bug fix, not really an update" and "2.61 will come in two months" as Rory and Paulius said.
Thank you for your answer ;)
I just wondered because i don't know any other programs which use letters in their version names
Sorry, i thought that there is 2.61 in your post, now i see that it is 2.60.1 .
Maybe that is the reason why they use letters. It is more easy to distinguish versions for unfocused readers like i am :).
I am pleased that Rigify addon works fine again - it was bug when rig controls didn't display in the bottom of the properties panel
I installed and the about box says 2.60.0(windows 64-bit exe install)
There is no 2.60.1 or 2.60.a
In 2.60a (r41226/windows 32bit) when I press the "Create New Action" in the Action Editor, the "F" button (save datablock even it has no users) automatically goes off. I was unaware of this and lost an action I made earlier, after reloading my save file :-|.
Is it suppose to go off automatically or is it a bug?
I 'm testing the "Subdivide" option and when i reach a subdivide level of 7 and above, my pc freezes for good! Is it normal 'cause I' m completely new to Blender. :-S
