I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. But it's just the sheer number of americans that makes it possible.. ?
Would like to see stats normalized by countries population count. :D

  2. Phaser Rave: The only way they could all be dark green is if we had all one country. Otherwise equal percentage would mean all light green.

  4. Grandmaster B on

Germany is number two! It has 16 times more hits than South Africa or Turkey for example, with Turkey having almost the same number of inhabitants. And also we have a better ratio than the US. I believe only the netherlands are higher. Do we kick ass?!?

  5. Why no downloads in Somalia? Im sure they could model great Pirateships! ;)

    Greetings from Lightgreen Germany
