Particle Fluids Update

Blender developer Jahka has been working on refactoring the current fluid particle dynamics system to be more stable and user friendly. While fluid particles still work much the same, almost all of the underlying code has been rewritten, and the parameters have been renamed and changed to be easier to get results with. The video below demo's some of the new features and changes.

  1. This fluid seems to have surface tension as far as I can see.
    The major drawback of the actual fluid simulator is the lack of surface tension.
    I mean if a fluid cube is left alone (gravity set to 0), it will remain a cube instead
    of taking the shape of a sphere.

  2. This would be great if you could see it and hear it. Even at the 1080, blurry and audio is to weak.
    Would be great if you could use Vimeo.

  4. Great effects, but I dont' know a really application of the particles fluid. There is a way to have a convertion in mesh of the mass that it create? Or a material to have a liquid effect? The metaballs works?

  5. Große Auswirkungen, aber ich dont 'kennen wirklich Anwendung der Partikel Flüssigkeit. Es gibt einen Weg zu einer Umwandlung in Maschen der Masse, die es schaffen haben? Oder ein Material haben einen flüssigen Effekt? Die Metaballs funktioniert?
