Big Pixel Studio has just finished a new game, called Big Pixel Racing! Made with Papervision and Blender, it is currently available to license.

Hi, I thought I would let you know about a recent game we have made using papervision and Blender. We done all the modelling and texturing for this game in Blender, its been really useful and a quick way for us to work.
I'm games artist and have been using Blender for year but this is the first 3d project I've got to work on (normally I do just 2d stuff) so I was really keen to use blender and happy that it is so well supported. I hope to use blender again soon for future projects.
Please take a look at out video of our game in action, I hope you like it.
Thanks for reading!

great!!!i love the graphics and the retro style...
This looks SO COOL. I love modern games, but I also enjoy little games that take me back to old times. Great work.
haha, awesome :D
looks like gta1 xD
May I remind people that Unity3D is now free and available for Both free and Commercial puposes...
wow.. cool style.. and awesome retro music. Very inspiring.
Unity3D does not have GNU/Linux native version so is ignoring quite huge market now.
Also they claim to support multiple platforms (icon of IE, Win and Mac). Multi means many, which is usually more than 2, but in fact they support only Win and Mac.
Woah, that's some big pixels you've got there! (cough)
Makes me think of Micro Machines :)

I lol'ed.
Nice! With flash beta compiling for iPhone, is PaperVision 3D content going to be portable also?
That looks pretty good, I'm impressed.
@Joe:
The Flash CS5 iPhone compiler is known to not produce very optimized code, making it unlikely that 3D graphics with Papervision, Away3D or any other Flash 3D engine will run at acceptable speed. This might improve a little before the final release, but for 3D iPhone games, you will always have more luck writing them in C/ObjC.
Cheers
In case the developer(s) happen by: If this is aimed at a US audience, you may want to change the wording on that "Beach Run" segment. It should probably read "You came in 1st" rather than "You came 1st."
@ Freedom - They're not ignoring a huge market in the GNU/Linux world. But that is the "market" of people that a few of us prefer. It's a tiny selection of people, but it's our section.
However, please don't bitch about it. They don't owe us anything, but man, I'd sure be glad if they did. Can't leave it at that?
@ Crawlie - Awesome comment. Perhaps, "First place!" would be better still? :D
I liked the looks of the game, nice spit shine.
Looks cool -- very fast!
I usually stay out of flame wars but I thought I'd make a slight correction:
@freedom: Unity does support multiple platforms. Windows and OS X are the two you mentioned, but you left out both iPhone and Wii support. Supposedly XBox 360 and PS3 support are on their way as well. I understand wanting Linux support, however it is the smallest market around as it's dwarfed by the four mentioned above.
Buenisimo che!!!!!
Great work
