I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

Dude! Very funny. I really love the work and the thought that went into this. Please keep it up. I would say this and Kiwi! are two of my favourite Blender animations. Simple, easy to follow, and clearly well thought out. Great work.

Marin: Haven't seen "the fallen" but I was pretty sure the game "Portal" inspired at least parts of this (very fun game BTW). Don't want to take you up on your bet though :)

Wow! thanks for putting me up on blendernation/blender.org :) (I've kinda dreamt of this day, hehe). Really nice to get all of these kind comments from you people and I'm honored that you find this piece so funny.
This episode was as prevoisly said very much inspired by the game portal but also from lots of other stuff, don't know about the movie "the fallen" though...
It took about a total of one and a half month to make but only half of that was spent on animating and modelling and the other half was spent on getting the soundeffects right. (Since I'm not very used to soundeffects it took really long time :P)
