Wow, this is absolutely amazing! How can those real-time-horses look better than many 2hrs-rendering??
Partly because blender internal render is not optimized to take advantage of the GPU in the video card that is is massively more powerful than a cpu for image work.
I would love to see game engine render as a selectable option to render a video with. Fast to work out if script planing is right or wrong would be handy. Save a lot of expensive opps I should have done that moments.
oiaohm, yes I think important to use the glsl to rendering videos. Now this is not possible and/or unusable.
This great! I enjoyed studing how you did the textures... even unpacked and imported into layers in Gimp to figure it out. Just shows that if you know what your doing it doesnt take lots of verts or a special renderer. Guess I need to study texturing more. :)
very very good
Wow, I've seen similar texture sample but never think it can be this amazing. I really zoom 'inside' look into the horse body! you know, like never been born form a horse! This could be a great (and fast) to show my product design!
Great use of shaders and texturing. Exactly the area where I'm struggling. This shows that you can get amazing effects, if you just know what you are doing. Thanks for sharing! :)
Very well executed Endi! Looks great :)
