And it's been updated on time, too! There are some really strong pieces in there this month. Go take a look and pick out your favorite!
Also, there have been a couple grumblings here and on the forums by people who submit their work, but sadly do not get it accepted into the gallery. It is unfortunate that all submissions can't be accepted to the gallery and it is a tough task to try picking out a few of the very best submissions each month. However, here are a few tips that might help you get your work accepted:
- The point of the gallery is to highlight Blender as well as Blender artists, so really be impressive with what Blender can do and what you can do with it. Just submitting something that highlights a feature of Blender might not be enough.
- A character or an object model might not make an image that's compelling enough on its own. Perhaps place the character or object in an interesting scene.
- If you are re-submitting work, try making changes to improve your render (better lighting, increased contrast, enhanced materials).
- We are a community of artists, try to do something different that you don't normally see in 3D galleries (but still make it impressive ;)
There you have it! A handful of pointers that should make your work stronger (and the job of the gallery maintainers more difficult ;). See you next month!

Nice work!!
btw. Am I the only one who's afraid to press any red links on this website?
(in wiki's, red links link to pages that don't exist yet, bit confusing to see them here as well :)
Awesome, finally up-to-date :D
I can see how it's getting hard to decide what makes it on there. The caliber of work is amazingly good. My personal favourite is Eric Wessels' piece.
I think it's good news that we've got people really wanting their great work on there. Blender would be looking a lot weaker if it had few good ones and a range of 'could be better' images in there. Each one has it's own great merits and I don't envy being the one to choose who gets on there!.
ah. One thing though.. it may be worth while asking for some fresh movie submissions for the blender movie gallery...
Those grapes look almost good enough to eat...
~epat. :)
Hey everybody,
I like to see the new gallery every time. I think it's a very good promotion for blender as for the artists. It gave me most fanmail, questions and job opportunities in the past.
And it's nice to be in it! :)
thx TXRX ;)

WoW, seems like it was updated just not too long ago. Keep up the good work!
nice! thanks for the eyecandy :)
I'm really honoured that my work has been published here for the second time. It really gives me a lot of inspiration and motivation! Thanks!
As someone building a K'nex toy with my sons at today all I can say is if building K'nex in blender is as challenging as building it for real, that big ball factory is pretty impressive.
I like the Big Ball Factory.
I remember building that. That would be hard to model!
all great works, no need to grumble cause all people can upload theire work at the renderositys blender gallery and voting is doneby the artist them selves. here is the link.

ps "4. We are a community of artists, try to do something different that you don't normally see in 3D galleries (but still make it impressive ;)" true i hardly see cars, fantasy and robots in the other 3d gallerys :P
