I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. Using curve node to impact the input of a shader, in my mind I remembered Andrew Kramer almost 10 years ago and how he change the way I used AE and now we can use it in Blender with roughness input and more.
I never thought of using it this way I thought if I wanted to achieve this kind of effect I will need a diffuse shader, glossy and a punch of textures plugged to the factor.

Thanks Gleb for all your hard work

  2. I always thought that this was obvious enough. But according to feedback down in a comments on a youtube - a lot of people has a lack of simple curriosity :)))
