I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.
Excellent work, but I'd check the spelling before I submitted it. I don't think "hydrolics" will impress any employer.
Great work, though! The little green squishy thing was absolutely amazing.
Very good reel! It made me sad, however, to think that Kajimba has apparently been put on hold. I thought that project really had quite some potential ...
Sheesh, people. If I was hiring an animator / rigger, I'd be hiring them for their animation / rigging skills (which look amazing) and really wouldn't give two hoots if they had a spelling mistake in their reel. Lighten up and learn from someone with more kills than 99% of the people here (including me).
Jeremy, if you ever make a DVD on rigging / animation techniques, sign me up for the first copy!
Crazy good animation and rigs - actually those are proofs that Blender can be tool for really professional jobs! Love it all - I would certainly buy jeremy's tutorial if there was any.

This is so good it's frustrating.
Love the car-scene with the mouse/antbear like creature ^^

Thanks for posting this, it is really fun to watch. Would really like to see some animation with that 'over done' mechanical rig.
That rigging real was very entertaining! (and showed some excellent work, of course) Congratulations!

Some serious talent there!
My standout clip was the lighthouse keeper at 1:26, but to be able to tackle both close-ups and broad body-shots too is very impressive, well done.

Simply loving it.
That Blender has decent animation tools is a no-brainer.
But the lighting in those shots is really very very impressive.
I would LOVE to see some rigging tutorials by you. I've never seen rigging that good in Blender before.
Matt: It's an insult to Bassam Kurdali's works!
You should start to do some personal research before crying for a n-th tutorials...
the rigging reel is totally awesome! good stuff
Awesome.... Jaw Dropping... You should do a Rigging DVD for 2.5....!
Great reel!...Bravo!...

Incredible! I am insanely jealous of your skill.
Jawdroping and insane. I really love the tips and the music he used on them.
Sad, I'm still stuck dealing with modeling and materials... Rigging and animating sounds so fun :(
So I've been wondering where the Kajimba guy went. Didn't know he worked on Sintel :)
just wow man!

There's nothing like talent to really highlight the fact that I've wasted my life...
Kudos
