    Wow, nice!

  • Gi.Am

That is a weird setting for such a slapstick animation.
But after getting used to it. It works quite well. Nice work.

I really liked that animation, and the credits at the end were very original. You don’t often see Blender animations of this quality.

    Very nice.

The animations where a bit STIFF though, like “move-there-to-move-here-stop!”, but the
environment and characters where absolutely wonderful, good job!

  • Ed the Tiger

Seriously the story was heaps weird.
    Otherwise not that bad.

  • Lifeling

Really fantastic. The sound especially was well done. This adds so much.

  • Frank_robernson

This is one funny video- i liked it but some of the rigging was off, but over all i liked the idea haha.

Excellent animation. I can see why it won an award for art direction.

@Mitch: it was her previous work that won a price. Still, I’m sure she’ll appreciate the compliment ;-)

i like it all: story, models, animation, textures, lights, music and sounds…
but it’s so sad, poor little chick!
please, do another clip with their jailbreaking! tell me that they are alive!

  • kABHIr

Fantastic! It’s great to see individuals using Blender to take a project from start to finish like this. Looking forward to seeing more from Anna.

  • Jonathan

    hahaha, ingridients, well thought!

  • TonyM

    Excellent!

It seemed the upper beak of the chickens moved independently of the head. Although that could be what your going for.

But very well polished, very good modeling/texturing. Really liked the opening shot.

Very good soup… Hum, I mean very good movie ! Nice animation, and great work on the models. The sound track is also excellent. Congratulations ! High quality level.

  • nemesis

    I really like this video.

    it is very well done.

I look forward to seeing more.

Some movie should be banned from the moment they are made…
And often wonder how come traditional 2d Animation are still very well appreciated…
By watching I completly understand why…

  • vidrazor2

Perhaps I’m not so perceptive, but I don’t see what’s so bad about the animation. Seems pretty natural-flowing to me.

    Nice work.

I have seen and analyzed this short quite a few times. It is simply great….the story did not impress me that much I must confess…but the quality of your modeling, rigging and animation made me quickly think that I still must learn quite a lot. I am missing something good. Hope you can share some of your technical background about lighting and fluent movements…in fact the whole project…it would be a treasure for me.

    Goo Luck!

  • ania

Thank you for the nice feedback for my animation,
and thanks to the moderators for putting it here!

I know about some issues and flaws, which you mentionned, but I’m still learning and hoping that every next animation will be better. There was a point where I had to finish it despite the bad things, took me too long anyway (2 years)

pixnolve – I know that it’s far from beeing perfect, but I don’t understand why it should be banned from the beginning?

blenderguy2008 – technical background about light you can find a few making-ofs of other works on my homepage, I use pretty much the same methods always (with the difference that this time there was no GI nor AO). About movements, I recommend you the book “The Animator’s Survival Kit” by Richard Williams, I learned a lot from it.
