Video: Zorbit - The Umbrella

Here I am with a new episode of my animated mini-series "Zorbit"! This time, our unlucky alien friend is dealing with a sudden downpour (you know, gotta watch out for those these days).

Over 120 hours of rendering with Cycles went into this animation, and I decided to go for a single camera shot.

For the rain, I used "Bagarain" – I highly recommend it. It worked like a charm, super user-friendly and fast.

I particularly enjoyed how well it interacted with objects, and even though it was mentioned that it might not work with animated objects, I still managed to get good results by creating a separate file with just the character as an obstacle. Then I composed it all together.

I also used "Botaniq" for the wind-blown grass in the background... did I do something by myself?
Well, anyway, everything else... LOL

I hope you have fun with it, and if you do, drop a like and a comment – it would make my day!

Big thanks!
