I'd like to introduce you to a project that we did with Blender.
It was supposed to be a band video of the "Punk Rock Boys", of which I am one of the singer.
A friend of mine had made funny puppets out of sheer boredom and so the idea came up to create a room in which a concert should take place.
A virtual cult club called "Licht-Aus" was created.
For the lower floor, parts of a 3D laser scan from the Rock'n Roll Hotel Hamburg (unfortunately no longer exists / gentrification) were used.
The band played in front of a green screen in the basement and a singer who is currently working in the USA sent a mobile phone video which was processed on the wall in the picture frame.
The real existing puppets were modelled in 3D and animated a bit. Everything should have a trashy style and look cheap.
