Hello dear blender professionals.
We have great news to share with you today!

Say hello to Scatter5.3 👋 our latest release for blender 3.3
As usual with our releases, we add new useful features and a lot of improvements, and this time, quite more than usual! Let me do a quick recap.

One of the most ambitious features we worked on so far, is the integration of the multi-surface scattering ability, which we rigorously implemented deep into our scattering workflow! That's a first for blender.

The ability to distribute in local or global space has been preserved! Meaning that working with animated surfaces is possible while keeping your density stable. Every single of our features has been adapted in order to work in the global world-space, or per individual surface local space.

The final result is very polished. For example, when you add and paint a new vertex-group density mask, Scatter5 will ensure that this vertex-group is shared across all of your chosen surfaces & set as active, from there, you'll just need to start painting your surfaces, no headaches!

Our manual distribution mode & all its brushes have been completely improved from the ground up! You will be able to paint seamlessly across all of your surfaces, as they are one large canvas. The generated points will be automatically attached to your surfaces local space.

The other major new feature of this update is the transitions falloffs! We implemented falloff-graphs a bit everywhere in our toolset. It will give you more control over any transitions.

Note that this falloff graph is also supported by our ALT-for-batch behavior, and by our settings-synchronization feature.

In addition to falloff transition graphs, we also added a new transition noise effect! This effect is quite overlooked in most scattering plugins, even in other 3d sofwares, and it is quite essential in order to imitate a more natural looking transition in our opinion!

That's it for the recap, but the features do not stop there!
Please check out our long changelog for more infos about the new functionalities that this release introduced.

If you have questions or suggestions we are available on our blenderartist thread.

Special thanks to megatecture for his hero artwork contribution. His artwork was made with Scatter 5.1in blender! take a look.
