0

Blender's sculpt mode has witnessed a revival over the past couple of years, thanks to the efforts of diligent developers and contributors. In a post on the Blender Developers' blog, Joe Eagar goes through the module's upcoming improvements and targets ahead.

The sculpt mode's development had been taking place in a separate branch for most of 2021, and in this post, Joe shares the main features about to be adopted into the main releases of Blender in the coming months:

Painting vertex colors has been overhauled

Improved Edge Boundaries preservation when smoothing as well as in Dyntopo

Improved "Enhance Details" brush
