Sprite Fright – Blender Open Movie Showreel

The Blender Studio has released a showreel with a TON of ‘behind the scenes’ views of modeling, rigging, assets, compositing, effects and more. It’s a quick edit with great eighties music and I enjoyed it a lot!

This video features the making of assets and characters, shot breakdowns, the making of effects with Grease Pencil and simulations. It also features tools and processes such as the z-depth based denoising and color palettes for characters and lighting.

All production files, training videos and more are available with a Blender Studio subscription.
