Course: 'Blender for Parametric Design' by Erindale Woodford

I'm pleased to announce the launch of my new course diving into parametric design with Blender using the Sverchok add-on!

This course has over 10 hours of recorded lessons and students also get access to 2 live sessions each month to talk through any queries they may have and to feedback on their work.

What is Parametric Design?

Parametric Design is a method of designing objects or spaces by creating a system that takes input parameters. In Architecture, Design and Engineering, we normally use the term Parametric whereas in Game Art and Animation we normally hear the term Procedural. In this context they're interchangeable.

Essentially we will be using Sverchok - a free, non-linear, non-destructive, node-based modelling add-on for Blender - and using it to create a number of projects.

The course starts nice and slow for anyone who's completely new to the system and we gradually increase the complexity of the operations until you're able to freely manipulate the tools to create whatever amazing designs you can think of.

In my opinion, parametric / procedural tools are one of the really important things to add to your toolset as a digital artist so that you're not limiting your ability to express your ideas.

The early bird discount ends on October 3rd and the first of the live sessions will be on the 16th of October.

I hope to see you there!

I really like the course but I really don't want to have it for only 90 days, I'm an architect student and of course, I searched for your course on Udemy, but I didn't find the Sverchok course there, I did find your name though, so I really hope that this course goes to Udemy because this course is one of the must keep/must have courses not for just 90 days. I hope my message reaches you.
