It keeps amazing me how the people at the BF think this is what Blender needs, to gain more traction in the professional 3D world.
But still no proper project management, no way to properly manage all your (linked) files or textures.
Still no basic render management, and the outliner still sucks donkey chunks when dealing with large datasets.
Don’t get me wrong, I like new additions to Blender, but for 3.0 they really should take a step back, have a loooong chat with the more professional users or small studios and see what is missing.
For me this is all fluf, as it doesn’t help me get any faster in Blender.
They’re doing good things with the asset manager, so add proper project and asset management as well.
make small stuidios and more advanced users happy too.
