Motion Capture is something Blender doesn't do particularly well by default. Which is why there's a lot of tutorials out there with misinformation on how to it.
In this third tutorial in the series, we'll be looking at how to take multiple motion capture clips and combine them using the Animation Layers addon.
If yo missed part one, you can learn the basics of getting motion capture into Blender here:

This is turning out to be a great series. If people ask me about retargeting I point them to you :)
Thanks heaps Todor. I think I've covered most of the important stuff now. Although in my research I've also found some stuff on motion capture specifically for hands, and a friend of mine is working on a facial mocap solution for Blender. So there may still be more coming :P
Any links to the facial mocap solution? Or is not released yet?
My friend is still developing his addon, so no links to that yet. But if you wanted to start looking into other options, these two addons look promising. I haven't personally tried them yet, but I'm hoping to in the near future.
