0

Pablo Dobarro, the Blender Dev machine that never sleeps, adding a new “Line Project Gesture” tool to the sculpting toolset.

This tool is designed to create cuts and planes surfaces on a mesh in Sculpt mode, only without going through booleans and Mesh Operations. Pablo achieves that by projecting all the vertices to the right of the line gesture towards the plane. This allows for a much faster operation than bisecting the mesh, in cases where remesh is going to be used anyway.
