This summer we released a new version of CrowdSim3D, a crowd and traffic simulation add-on for Blender. In this new release we added support for long vehicles, banking roads, trailers or wagons and turning or brake signals.
We improved the "accident detection" and the traffic rules at crossings. Cars will look for gaps that they can use. We also added improvements for multiple traffic types and speed especially at crossings and much more.
Go and try the crowd and traffic simulation with a free car model.

what about the license here ....??? I'm confused ...
On the website of the add-on it says you cannot change the code nor redistribute it, while the GPL license of blender impose add-ons to be sold and distributed with GPL too ...
https://www.blender.org/about/license/
Sorry for the confusion. The blender add-on is GPL as stated in the license of blender. The add-on itself interfaces with an external engine via import/export. This part isn't under GPL
We will update the license on our website to reflect this.
