Hi Everyone! I've been trying to find an efficient process to create animations in Blender. This short video is the result of my work so far. It's about a father and son superhero team, and all the conflict that comes with having a family business. I'm planning on creating more of the story and hopefully get a little quicker with the production as time goes on. Thanks for watching!
Tools used:
- Blender
- Auto Rig Pro
- Substance Painter
- Character Creator 3
- Perception Neuron motion capture suit

Look good Darrin!
I've followed you for a while. Also attempting to do the same (small "1 man show" 3d animated series).
Are you editing/compositing in Blender? What are you using for rendering (as in a render farm?)
Thanks! I'm editing in Adobe Premiere, just because I've used it for years and I know it. I've tried RenderStreet for rendering. I like it and it's really intuitive. But I've also rendered the shorter shots myself. With Eevee it's pretty fast, I try and keep my render times to around 5-6 seconds per frame. Would love to hear more about your experience as well. Thanks for watching!
Absolutely. I'm undecided on exactly how I'm going to render. Flip flopping between Eevee and possibly using Unreal
