QUICK TIPS | DAZ Model Importer Part 2/2 | Pose Animation + Cloth Simulation

Christina Myrvold writes:

If you're relatively new to Blender like myself, you'll probably know the frustration of wanting to easily create clothing for your character without pulling your hair out and emptying your wallet for a subscription to "Marvelous Designer". I've spent months trying to figure out a streamlined and fairly simple workflow for clothing creation, and I've finally found a method that works.

In this week's video on POLYCOSM, we continue with part 02 of the "DAZ Model Importer" mini-series, and I will demonstrate how to import a DAZ model that animates from pose A to pose B, how to add cloth simulation into the mix and lastly, how to painlessly edit skin textures of your imported DAZ models. I also briefly touch on my workflow for creating rough clothing using both the Garment Tool and Simply Cloth add-on.

Hope you find the video(s) useful. Happy Blending!
