Introducing Render Strip addon 🎬

8

Lucky Kadam writes:

Hi Blender community,

✅ Render all camera animations in one click using Render Strip addon.

Often times we work with multiple camera scenes. Remembering each camera's start-end frame, and setting these values every-time before hitting Render, is so tedious. Instead just use Render Strip addon.

How to use it:
1. Create new strip by clicking on New Strip.
2. Specify the camera, start frame and end frame.
3. Hit Render

All this information will be stored in blend file. Set it up once, and render like breeze.

  1. perfekt! Just what i was looking for! Thank you very much!
Blender should have that included and not to have the complicated way (make markers and Link the cameras to the markers...)

  2. I just tried it but it would be nice to be able to name the strip (for later reference) and to be able to see the difference if you use the same camera for another strip (like i often do).

As i see it now you can hit render and all strips are rendered to the same path am i right ?
In that case i'll have to do a lot of moving and renaming of shots resulting in a lot of work after rendering.

Although i think this is a very good start i think my suggestions would make it a winner addon hands down.
Thanks for your effort in any case.

    • Hi Kurt. Thanks for the feedback.

Currently you CAN use the same camera for different strips. And also all the strips are rendered to different paths (format: {camera}.{start}-{end} ).

One improvement we can do is to add an option to render to specific path (strip names), instead of generating paths using the format. Something similar is request in this github issue: https://github.com/luckykadam/render-strip/issues/1

It would be great if you could add your suggestions to the github issue.

  3. A really good blog indeed. A key part of good architecture and design is vision. If the designer's true talent is to design a vision that he imagines and makes people wonder how well the art is performed and admire the designer's vision and artistic, it's meant to win everyone's hearts.
I came across this post online and I feel that it may come in handy for aspiring architects or interior designers.
