I will show you how quickly you can have VR setup in Blender 2.83. It is amazing what results you can get out. I just felt overwhelmed that I was able to stand in one of my scenes, and also get a chance to watch one of my animation.

That is pretty cool. Who wouldn't want to walk through a scene they have just made!? Or meet a creature they just created. I just need a VR headset now
Someone pointed out aswell, it is a great way to check your scale.
Hi MARKOM3D - cool video. The title could be "Using Blender" + + "to enjoy your scene to the max"... In a way I'm glad you don't get past the ultra basics of enabling VR. I don't have a VR goggle but it's tempting now.
Cheers~
Hi,
please note, that you can go to camera view, activate 'Lock camera to view' and than you can move around in your scene in VR! I tried that and it's really great!
OK!!! Now, it would be nice to replicate the keyboard in the VR headset view, by using your basic camera, it would project your fingers at the right place on the digital keyboard. Maybe the camera could sense the noise levels, to establish contact, or shadows... Just thinking out loud.
Maybe add in a smoothing threshold option for camera movements, that would be great!
Super cool! I'm just near completing a spaceship for a VR game I would like to make. Great to see it first before exporting everything into the game engine. Can't wait to try this myself. You can see the spaceship near completion on my site if you're interested.
