Hey everyone,
Here's a quick video which shows you how to create your own great decals in Blender using all free tools. The key is the material you use, and with it you can add grunge to your decal, as well as change colors and make it emissive.

Do these export to UE4 or other engines ?
That would be wonderful.
Yes they do, but as separate objects. You would want to add a decimate modifier to reduce the number of polygons, then apply all modifiers. You'll need to set up the materials in Unity and UE4.
I can't find the Free Sir Charles Decal Set?
Can You Send The Link?

Thanks man! youre awesome
Thanks for this!
Not sure if it's a version issue (latest on both blender and kitops), but adding the free decals kitops folder to the paths doesn't show up the content in the tool. It seems you can't 'click back to the folder level' when selecting the path, as clicking 'Accept' at that level takes you down into the folder and you have to click 'Accept' again...
Not sure if this is an issue as the path seems to resolve fine, just can't seem to pick up SC's pack in KitOps after doing this...
Ah, finger trouble - go back one level and hit accept - don't go back one level, reselect the folder, and hit accept cos that takes you down into the folder - my bad.
Hello, great tools but why "decal grunge" is no more available now ?
