Hello, I'm Sayan from Boundless Blending. This is my first tutorial after a 2-year hiatus.
In this tutorial, we will learn how to create a simple procedural clouds shader in blender and then add some scifi/fantasy kind of lighting to it.
Blender version : 2.8
Render engine : EEVEE
Difficulty : BeginnerHope you enjoy it and learn something new :)

Regardless of your age, this is a quality tutorial. Your presentation is very good! I like how you get right into the action, no fluff and huge lengthy intro, etc. This, in my opinion, makes it more professional. And your workflow-sharing is really solid. Nice work!
Hey! Thanks for the praises :) I have put much effort and thinking into pushing the quality and presentation of the tutorial. Your comment made my day.

Agreed, it pains to say because tutorial makers have the best intentions, but one of the most important items we have in our wealth - even if it is not accounted - is our time.
Yes, I agree with that too. I hope my original comments weren't perceived the wrong way. I wasn't trying to throw insults at tutorial-makers, I hope to join those ranks soon, but sometimes it feels as though the tutorial-creators spend more time trying to razzle-dazzle the audiences with their intros rather than focus on the content itself. I just prefer a simpler intro and then get right into the meat of the content, so to speak . . . like this one.
True. I think tutorial styles vary a lot. But most tutorial videos can be cut down while also keeping it interesting and informative. In fact, my old videos can be cited as bad examples but I'm constantly learning. Anyway, thanks for the comment :)
great vid, will try it now, thanks
Appreciate the love :)
It's a really good tutorial!! You must keep on going !! :)
Very good work !
I sure will ! That's a great amount of motivation coming from you. THANKS! :D

i really wish this was supported on my system. i have a vega 64 on macos and reported it into the bug tracker but its not been touched for the better part of a year now :(
What is the bug exactly?
I believe he means that Blender doesn't support Radeon graphics cards. Not really a bug, though, just a fact of life, for now.
There is also a somewhat-similar tutorial, from Mark Kingsnorth, that is great. It predates 2.80, I believe, but the node setups can be used to achieve something similar with Cycles.
Awesome tutorial! Looking forward to seeing more from ya!
Thanks! I hope to deliver more quality content :)
awesome
Excellent. This is exactly what I needed. I did a couple of other workflows for a clouds "fly-through" - one with Blender and one with After Effects - and this one is easily the standout of the three. Thank you!

Really great work Sagan. Being a Blender newbie (worked in Max the C4D for many years) I learnt so much. Loved the presentation as well.
Thanks Alan, there are now tutorial courses on the channel by now. Let me know if you have any questions or need any help. Cheers :)
I'll look forward to invstigating, Thanks Sayan. Another thing that I've just found out about Blender is that you can download and instantly run the latest (by the week, I'm told now for v2.9) of Blender.
